PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow highly sensitive detection in an immunochromatograph for detecting a Verotoxin. SOLUTION: In this immunological detection method, (1) (a) a labeled complex coupled with the first specific coupling substance to a Verotoxin 1 type A subunit or a Verotoxin 2 type A subunit, onto a colored particle, and (b) an examined liquid are mixed to obtain a mixture of the (a) and the (b), (2) the mixture is dropped on one end of a test piece having a solid phase immobilized with the second specific coupling substance to a Verotoxin 1 type B subunit or a Verotoxin 2 type B subunit, onto a water-absorbing base material, and developed, (3) a label resulting from the labeled complex is detected in the solid phase, and a process for concentrating the mixture of the (a) and the (b) and mixing it with the (b) to obtain a mixture thereof is carried out at least once in the (1). A reagent kit for the immunological detection method including the labeled complex and the test piece is also provided.
