PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water soluble deodorant element manufactured without solving or decaying a hydrolyzable base material and having a superior fixing property of the deodorant. SOLUTION: This deodorant composition is formed by dissolving a polymer soluble to an organic solvent and soluble to water in the organic solvent, and distributing deodorizer therein. The deodorant composition is coated on or contained in a base material having hydrolyzability and organic solvent resistance so as to be formed into a hydrolyzable deodorant.
