FIELD: inorganic substances technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process of regenerating exhausted sulfuric acid containing metal sulfates, which process consists in that initial exhausted sulfuric acid solution is cooled in crystallizer to temperature between +5 and -15C thereby initiating formation of metal sulfate crystals. The latter are then separated from crystal suspension and removed from cycle. Clarified solution is evaporated to concentration of sulfuric acid 70-75% and new metal sulfate crystals are additionally separated.
