<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and a contact member vibration method, maintaining clean a contact member, arranged to contact an image support body and controlling occurrence of abnormal images. <P>SOLUTION: In a printer as an image forming device, provided with a photoreceptor 2 as an image support body which supports a latent image on the surface, a development device 40 as a development means for supplying a development agent to the latent image on the photoreceptor 2 and to develop the latent image, and a charging brush roller 38 as at least one contact member whose surface contacts the photoreceptor 2, the printer has a vibration generator 50 as a vibration generating means for making the charging brush roller 38 vibrate; and when the charging brush roller 38 contacts the photoreceptor surface containing an image forming region, the vibration generator 50 will not make the charging brush roller 38 vibrate, and other than these, it makes the charging brush roller 38 vibrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
