A device cooperation control system comprising: a control apparatus; and a device that is carried by a user, the device including an acceleration sensor that acquires an acceleration value detected in accordance with a motion of the device, a communication unit that transmits the acquired acceleration value to the control apparatus, and a first display unit, wherein the control apparatus includes: a sensor value acquisition unit that acquires a sensor value detected in accordance with the motion of an object positioned in front of the control apparatus,a cooperation partner decision unit that determines whether a correspondence between the motion of the device and the motion of the object positioned in front of the control apparatus is present based, at least in part, on the acceleration value and the sensor value to decide whether the device is to be a partner that cooperates with the control apparatus based on a determination result,a second display unit to show display information, information about the display information additionally being shown on the first display unit, anda display control information selection unit that selects the display information shown by the first and second display units in accordance with the motion of the device if the device is determined to be a partner that cooperates with the control apparatus, wherein the object is the user, the acquired sensor value includes three-dimensional image data, and the sensor value acquisition unit acquires the three-dimensional images of the user, as the user faces the second display unit, to provide the sensor value, and wherein the cooperation partner decision unit uses three-dimensional motion of the user's hand and the acceleration value to determine whether a correspondence between them exists.
