According to the present invention, the power preference information selection method includes the steps of: measuring background network usage information of a terminal; extracting network usage information of the terminal when the background network usage information exceeds a preset value; selecting power preference information based on the extracted network usage information; and transmitting the selected power preference information to a base station.
