A shelter has a frame consisting of a number of ridge trusses (10) connected end to end, and pairs of substantially triangular rafter trusses (11) extending in opposite directions from the ridge trusses (10), their outer ends, at each side of the shelter, being releasably interconnected by upper side members (12) and detachably supported by posts (13). The ridge trusses (10) and rafter trusses (11) are releasably co-joined by locking pins (23) passed through aligned tubes (24, 25) on the trusses (10, 11). A roofing sheet (31) of open-weave shade cloth sections (32) to either side of a central waterproof ridge panel (33) is secured over the ridge trusses (10) and rafter trusses (11). Ceiling sections (34) of flexible waterproof sheet material, supported by the bottoms of the triangular ridge trusses (11), are outwardly convergent to the roofing sheet thereabove. |
