摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a driving system reducing crosstalk by switching a voltage waveform formed based on the leading edge of a selecting pulse and a voltage waveform formed based on the trailing edge of the pulse at a specific period. CONSTITUTION:In a driving system for a matrix type liquid crystal panel for displaying intermediate gradation based on a voltage averaging method, the voltage waveform formed based on the leading edge of the selecting pulse and the voltage waveform formed based on the trailing edge of the selecting pulse are switched at a specific period in the period for determining the gradation of the voltage waveform of the selecting pulse applied to respective picture elements of a liquid crystal panel. In case of ideal driving having no hair or the like, the effective values of respective voltage waveforms applied to respective picture elements on a display screen are the same, but the increase and decrease of shear from the ideal effective voltage value due to palpi of respective picture elements are reversed to each other. Consequently, the shear values from the ideal effective voltage value due to palpi or the like of respective picture elements are offset and crosstalk on the display screen can be reduced.
