<p>PURPOSE:To prepare a recording liquid giving high printing quality and high density of a recorded image even when applied on an ordinary paper and having excellent stability and resistance to water and light by compounding a specific metal-contg. triazo dye as a colorant of the recording liquid. CONSTITUTION:This recording liquid contains at least one of dyes of the formula (wherein A and B are each optionally substd. phenyl or naphthyl; X is H, methyl, methoxy, ethoxy, Cl, or acethylamino; M is Cu or Co; W is alkali metal; and n is 0 or 1), the pref. content of which is 0.5-5wt.%, esp. 2-4wt.%, based on the recording liquid. Usually 10-50wt.% solvent (based on the recording liquid), pref. water or a water-sol. org. solvent such as ethylene glycol, ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, etc., is used.</p> |
