PURPOSE:To eliminate influence exerted upon grinding work by the fluctuation of thickness of a belt, and carry a material to be worked reliably and stably by using a carrying means different from a conveyor belt. CONSTITUTION:Plural holding bodies 13 capable of attracting a material 14 to be worked by magnetic force or vacuum pressure are installed at prescribed intervals on an endless carrier chain 12 driven continuously at prescribed speed, and grinding work is carried out on the material to be worked carried by being held by the holding body by a grinding wheel 15. In order to hold the material 14 to be worked in constant height when this grinding work is carried out, the holding body 13 is supported with a support means composed of wheels 25 arranged in the holding body 13 and a support rail 26 arranged in a machine body 10. |
