PURPOSE:To provide an electronic musical instrument network system which enables a transmission side to recognize the receipt of inadequate control information on the reception side. CONSTITUTION:Ports to be exclusively used for reception, ports to be exclusively used for transmission and transmission/reception ports respectively disposed at the nodes of a keyboard 1, a sound source (1) 4, a sound (2) 5, a sound source (3) 6, a sequencer 2 and a mixer 3 are connected by logical paths L1 to L10. These logical paths are virtual transmission paths and multicast the transmission data to the plural nodes from the transmission ports by imparting group addresses to the transmission data. The logical paths deliver confirmed answer data to the transmission side when the paths judge that the inadequate data is received. The reception side receives such data and judges whether the reception side receive the normal data or not. |
