PURPOSE:To enable cutting in a short time with a cutting plane retained in high quality even in cutting a work whose quality of the surface is not uniform. CONSTITUTION:A work surface monitoring means 31 monitors the surface of the material of a work 330 and outputs it as a normal/defective condition detecting signal. A working state discriminating means 13 analyzes the normal/ defective condition detecting signal and discriminates the surface of the work 330. A means 14 for setting working conditions holds the data 14a, 14b of plural working conditions, selects from them the data of the working conditions corresponding to the surface of the work 330, and make cutting executed under such working conditions. Thus, even in the cutting of a work whose quality of the surface is not uniform, the cutting is performed in a short time with the cutting plane retained in high quality. |
