Motorised finger-nail cosmetic care apparatus

A cosmetic apparatus for nail care has a housing with an integrated motor (1) driving the rotary tool and a knob outside the housing for speed adjustment. This is done by phase control. The control electrode of a thyristor in the motor current supply circuit is joined by the knob to a potentiometer (5) in a potential divider chain (4 to 6) across the power supply terminals. Between the control electrode and the cathode of the thyristor is an isolating condenser (3). The motor is in series with two diodes on the cathode side of the thyristor, with an other isolating condenser across all three. There is yet another condenser across the motor itself.
