PURPOSE: To accurately measure a position by obtaining two closest solutions out of two pairs of solutions regarding the distances to reference satellites which are obtained by a specific calculation expression based on the principles of Pythagorean theorem and repeating the calculation until two solutions nearly agree with each other. CONSTITUTION: When a reference satellite S0 and a plurality of non-reference satellites Si are assumed, distance from an estimation point P0 to the satellites S0 and S1 is set to L0 and L1 , respectively, and distance difference to the distance L0 is set to dLi , the distance difference dLi is assumed to a sum n1λ+dm of a value obtained by multiplying a wavelengthλof a carrier received from each satellite by an integer n1 and a distance dm which is less than a wavelength calculated from an actually measured phase difference, and calculation is repeated by each distance difference dLi where a calculation expression based on Pythagorean theorem regarding the distance L0 and the distance L0 and dLi is assumed and obtaining two solutions regarding the distance L0 to the satellite S0 by the simultaneous equations by while replacing one out of the satellites Si and dividing the equation into two portions, and changing the combination of the integer n1 included in distance difference until two nearly agreed solutions are obtained out of them. |
