PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid taking time for operation of adjusting arrangement by providing a light emitting device at an antenna part for transmitting data, which is provided for a reader and writer being an information reader, so as to unnecessitate a guide to facilitate application to a portable reader and writer. SOLUTION: The portable reader and writer is formed of the light emitting device (laser light source) 21, a grip part 22 that a user grips at the time of carrying the reader and writer or at the time of holding it to an IC card, a reader/writer main body 23 and a reader/writer antenna part 24. Then, the light source 21 is provided at nearly a center of the part 24 of the main body 23. The slight source 21 nearly vertically emits its laser beam to the part 24 to visually display the communicable position of data from the reader and writer. As this laser light source, a diode laser, a solid laser, a gas laser, etc., can be used. |
