PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission line converter with a high conversion efficiency by reducing the reflection at a converted part between a conductor line and a nonradiative dielectric line. SOLUTION: The transmission line converter 10 includes the nonradiative dielectric line 11 consisting of two upper lower conductor plates 12a, 12b almost in parallel and of a dielectric strip 13 inserted between the two upper lower conductor plates 12a, 12b and a conductor line 15 that is placed in contact with an end face of the dielectric strip 13 and connected to the nonradiative dielectric line 11, and the two upper lower conductor plates 12a, 12b are short- circuited within a range of one wavelength with respect to the operating frequency from a connected part between the nonradiative dielectric line 11 and the conductor line 15. |
