POLYAMIDE CURING AGENT COMPOSITIONS

A polyamide curing agent composition is provided to realize a high curing rate, and to impart a high room-temperature drying rate and excellent coating layer appearance when used in coating applications. A polyamide curing agent composition comprises a reaction product of: (1) an amine component containing at least one multi-functional amine represented by the following formula 1; and (2) a dimeric fatty acid or ester component (optionally comprising a monofunctional fatty acid). In formula 1, R1 is CH2CH2CH2NH2; each of R2, R3 and R4 independently represents H or CH2CH2CH2NH2; and X is CH2CH2 or CH2CH2CH2.
