Fluid routing device for CAPD line set. The device comprises a solution clamp member (11) for co-operation with solution tube (6), a drain clamp member (12) for co-operation with drain tube (8) and a breaking member (24) for co-operation with frangible pin (26) of the CAPD line set. A lever arm (17) operates a cam surface (15) which is pivotable to a start position in which a lid is openable to load the CAPD line set in the device. In a break position, the cam surface co-operates with the clamp members and breaking member to break the frangible pin. In a priming position, the clamp members are open to flush the tubes. In a drain position, the drain clamp member is open and the solution clamp member is closed to perform draining, and in a fill position, the drain clamp member is closed and the solution clamp member is open to perform filling. Finally, the lever arm is pivoted to an end position where both clamp members are closed whereby the patient may perform a disconnection. Then, the CAPD line set is removed and discarded. Elderly patients and patients with impaired eyesight operate the device more easily. |
