DATA RELAY DEVICE, STORAGE DEVICE, AND RESPONSE DELAY MONITORING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent delay of data reading corresponding to a read request and to reduce a processing load of a processor controlling a cache memory. SOLUTION: A read request transmission part 52a notifies a tag for a transmitted read request to a request management table 52b. The request management table 52b manages an elapsed time from transmission of the read request for each tag notified from the read request transmission part 52a. A delay monitoring part 52d monitors the elapsed time for each of the read requests counted in the request management table 52b. The delay monitoring part 52d instructs a message transmission part 51c to transmit an alert/error message when the elapsed time reaches an alert/error level.
