<p>Provided are structures having reinforcement of three-dimensional truss type cellular materials, and methods for manufacturing the same, which are capable of greatly improving mechanical properties such as strength or toughness of construction and civil engineering structures because the reinforcement have a regularly repetitive morphology and an open cell architecture similar to an ideal truss. The structure having the reinforcement of the three-dimensional truss type cellular material includes: a matrix for a structure having a predetermined strength; and a reinforcement that is a three-dimensional truss type cellular material having a regularly repetitive morphology and an open cell architecture similar to an ideal truss, wherein the reinforcement is arranged inside the matrix in order to reinforce the matrix. The matrix is an inorganic material and may be one of concrete, mortar, loess, and gypsum.</p> |
