PURPOSE:To manage batteries delicately by connecting microcomputers to individual batteries so that the data of outside equipments are fed into or out of input and output lines in superimposition on a-c signals at a frequency of 20kHz or lower. CONSTITUTION:A group of storage batteries B(1.1)-B(1.5) to be installed on electric cars, etc. is connected to a storage battery control unit BC, and a current measuring resistor R, voltage detector V, current detector I, temperature detector T, and microcomputer C are connected to each storage battery E respectively. Then, the data of the storage battery E are fed into the control unit BC through input and output lines connected to positive and negative terminals in superimposition on a-c signals at a frequency of 20kHz or lower, and the amplitude of the a-c signals is kept within 0mV-10V and at 50% or less of the battery voltage. Accordingly, worn-out storage batteries can be replaced for sure under the delicate management, and in addition the conditions can be properly shown to users. |
