PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an expressive face image from an original image.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes an original image acquisition section 51, a face part extraction section 52, a type classification section 53, a side-face part image acquisition section 54, and a face image generation section 55. The original image acquisition section 51 acquires an original image to be processed. The face part extraction section 52 extracts a part of a face, which is a specific part in a face area which is a characteristic area of the original image acquired by the original image acquisition section 51. The type classification section 53 classifies the part of a face, which is the specific part, extracted by the face part extraction section 52. The side-face part image acquisition section 54 generates a side-face part image, which is a first image, on the basis of a category of the part of the face, which is the specific part, classified by the type classification section 53.
