DEVICE FOR REMOVING SPATTER FROM WELDING TORCH

PURPOSE:To provide a titled device for removing spatters which removes automatically the spatters sticking to a welding torch during welding by inserting the tip of the welding torch to a spatter remover under rotation which coincides with the shape of the chip and nozzle of the welding torch attached to one end of a rotating body. CONSTITUTION:A rotational driving body 4 is rotated by tapping an actuator 14a and a spatter removing device 10 is rotated in the stage of approaching a welding torch to this device in order to remove spatters therefrom. The welding torch is at the same time descended to insert the tip thereof into the device 10 and the spatters sticking to the end A of the chip 1 and the end B of the nozzle 3 are removed by the end A' and step part B' of the device 10. The spatters sticking to the outside circumference of the chip 1 and sticking to the inside circumference of the nozzle 3 are removed by the inside and outside circumferences of the device 10. The removed spatters are dropped through the central parts 10a and 6a of the device 10 and the body 6 or dropped through the space between a bracket 9 and a sheath 12 and therefore there is no scattering of the spatters to the outside and all the spatters are dropped downward. If a receiving tray is provided underneath this device, the spatters are completely recovered.
