PURPOSE:To make up the deficiency of the intensity of external magnetic fields at the time of recording and erasing of information by forming a magnetic fluid film adjacently to thin amorphous magnetic films which are the information recording layers and sandwiching the recording layers between the external magnetic fields and the magnetic fluid film. CONSTITUTION:This recording medium is made into the structure sandwiching the magnetic fluid film 3 with the thin amorphous magnetic films 2, 2' on the inner side by using two sheets of transparent substrates 1, 1' formed with the thin amorphous magnetic films 2, 2' on one face. The coercive force of the thin amorphous magnetic films 2, 2' are set larger than the coercive force of the magnetic fluid film 3 and the Curie point Tc2 of the magnetic fluid film 3 is set larger than the Curie point Tc1 of the thin amorphous magnetic films 2, 2'. The deficiency of the magnetic field intensity of the external bias magnetic fields at the time of recording and erasing of information is thereby made up. |
