PURPOSE:To obviate the wear of a drive shaft and to prevent deformation by the wear of the hub itself by forming the inner peripheral part of the central hole of the hub of the optical memory disk of a prescribed amt. selected from polyester, polyamide and polyacetal resins and a prescribed amt. selected from polyolefin and hot melt fluoroplastic. CONSTITUTION:The inner peripheral part 2 of the central hole facing the outer peripheral part 1 of the hub to be fitted to the optical memory disk is composed of 60 to 90wt.% at least one kind selected from the polyester resin, polyamide resin and polyacetal resin and 40 to 1wt.% at least one kind selected from the polyolefin and the hot melt fluoroplastic. The wear of the drive shaft is not admitted even after the hub is subjected to repetitive attaching and detaching tests. The generation of worn powder or dimensional change is obviated even if the hub itself is worn. The stable use over a long period of time is thus assured.
