<p>PURPOSE: To contrive possibility of high-speed stamping by constituting a stamping tool in the manner that a stamping punch is held at a high position so as to make the punch selectively engaged with a workpiece as well as making the engaging position adjustable. CONSTITUTION: A stamping tool 20 for a workpiece 18 is constituted of plural stamping punches, a device for holding the stamping punch at a high position against the workpiece 18, a device for selecting the punch as necessary and for making it engaged with the workpiece 18, and a device for adjusting a moving distance of the punch from the fixed position to the engaging position. As a result, automatic stamping is made possible for a turret type indexing tool station that operates at high speed.</p> |
