PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the output voltage influenced by a load to a constant reference value in a PWM control signal generation circuit which is assembled in a portable generator. SOLUTION: A portable generator, which converts AC voltage to DC voltage and then produces single-phase AC voltage, is provided with a central control means 310 which comprises a PWM signal generating section 441 and an output voltage waveform monitoring section 433. The PWM signal generating section produces a PWM control signal, having a pulse width corresponding to each PWM reference value successively. The output voltage waveform monitoring section calculates a corrected value, by subtracting a value obtained by multiplying an output current value detected from the difference between a voltage table value corresponding to each PWM reference value and a detected output voltage value by a constant and then stores it. When the PWM signal generating section produces a next PWM control signal based on a next PWM reference value, it can produce a PWM control signal based on a corrected reference value obtained by subtracting or adding the corrected value stored in the monitoring section from or to the PWM reference value. |
