This invention concerns a floating contact pin to absorb centring faults between a contact pin attached to a printed circuit board or the like and a corresponding fixed socket. According to the invention the contact pin comprises an inner flexible electrically-conductive central pin 1 and an outer hollow contact sleeve 4 surrounding the central pin. The central pin 1 is attached perpendicular to and electrically connected to the printed circuit board 2 and the contact sleeve 4 is attached in electrically-conductive contact with the central pin 1 at its free outer end 5, whereby the contact sleeve 4 can be moved sideways in relation to the attachment point 3 of the central pin. <IMAGE> |
