<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution by showing the direction of shift and the amount of shift only from a present position. CONSTITUTION:Signals Da-Dd inputted to detection sections 110-140 provided at a pattern detection section 100 are inputted to a logical detection section 330 via buffers 311-314 and transmitted to a logical detection 330 via D flip-flop registers (D-FFs) 321-324. Simultaneously, the Da-Dd are intermediate detection signals Ma-Md at an intermediate value detection section 140 and transmitted to the logical detection section 330. The D-FFs 321-324 hold output signals (a)-(d) before the pattern detection section 100 is shifted. A comparison section 335 compares the output signals (a)-(d) with outputs Qa-Qd of the D-FFs, thus deecting the presence of the shift of the pattern detection section 100. When the shift is detected, the content of the D-FFs 321-324 is updated. The amount of shift is detected by counting the number of output pulses of the comparison section 355 and the direction of shift is detected with the logical operation between the signal of the intermediate value detection section 340 and the signals of the D-FFs.</p> |
