PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer having a volatile component diffusing device which can continuously diffuse aromatic components in a room with utilization of a partial function of the printer and can stop diffusing aromatic components at nighttime, holidays or the like when the printer is not used. SOLUTION: A printer 1 has a heat radiation means 61, a ventilation means 51 for ventilating the air in the periphery of the heat radiation means, and a volatile component feed means 65 set adjacent to the heat radiation means for feeding volatile components useful to man to the heat radiation means. The volatile component feed means can be set in the middle of piping means 49, 55 and 57 communicating with the heat radiation means or to the upstream of the means. Volatile components may be included in ink for printing to be evaporated at the heat radiation means from the ink for printing. |
