PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector assembly having male and female connectors with the same shape and providing highly reliable electrical connection by aligning housings at the time of fitting. SOLUTION: Housings 3 which are a pair of insulating male and female housing with same shape respectively comprise blade parts 5, having mating faces 9 facing in the direction at right angles to the fitting direction and guide fingers 7 which have the other faces 17 neighboring the blade parts and facing in the inverse direction and exist in the different sides from the blade parts. Contacts 4 are arranged in the mating faces 9. When both housing 3 are fitted, the blades 5, the contact parts 4, and guide fingers 7 mutually overlap, respectively, and mutually slide and are brought into contact. |
