METHOD OF MAKING SLURRY FROM SANDS OF PLACER DEPOSITS

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to open-cast mining of placer deposits and can be used in making slurry for concentration of placer deposit sands. According to method, sands are delivered to flat stationary horizontal screen. Then sands are disintegrated and screened with use of pressure-fed water. Oversize material is directed to dump, and screened material is delivered to concentration. Washed oversize material is mixed, removed from screen and discharged to dump by pull shovel.
