FIXING FOR A CASING FOR AN I-SECTION GIRDER

Fixing for a fire-retardant cladding around an I-section girder (1). The fixing consists of a number of parts of blocks (8) arranged alongside one another. These parts are fitted by clamping between the upper and the lower flange of the I-section girder (1). To realise clamping of this type, the opposing sides of the parts which engage with the upper (2) and lower (3) flanges are rounded such that the distance between the first corner points located diagonally opposite one another is less than the distance between the mid points of the sides located opposite one another in these blocks (8).
