APPARATUS FOR STORING DATA IN A COMPUTER SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for storing data in a computer system is provided to store data by using a dynamic random access memory in a computer system. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit(100) provides data called from a computer system, position information on the data and control data. A clock generating unit(200) provides a standard clock signal(201) to a control unit(300). The control unit(300) is composed of a system control unit(310), a decoder(320) and an adder(330). The first data latch unit(400) stores data called from the interface unit(100), and provides the data to a data storage unit(500). The data storage unit(500) responds to an address(331) from the adder(330) and an input/output control signal from the control unit(310). The second data latch unit(600) stores the data from the data storage unit(500). A power supplying unit(700) is composed of an external power supplying unit(710), the first internal power supplying unit(720), the second internal power supplying unit(730), a power supply control unit(740) and an alarm unit(750).
