PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the continuation of a service by preventing the interruption of communication processing by making the most accurate response according to an error situation at the time of performing access to a duplexed shared memory means. SOLUTION: In a memory duplex device in which one of shared memory means 10 (10a and 10b) is operated as an active system and the other as a standby system, and they can be mutually switched, the shared memory means 10 is provided with an error detecting part 100(100a and 100b) which detects an error in a system bus and the memory and an error judging part 17(17a and 17b) which instructs the countermeasure of a bus controlling part 13(13a and 13b) and the countermeasure of the shared memory means 10 according to the error classification of the error detected by the error detecting part of one or both of its own memory means and the other shared memory means. Then, it is possible to facilitate a countermeasure corresponding to the error classification of the error detected at the time of performing access to the shared memory means 10. |
