PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A.C. drive type plasma display device capable of surely preventing the occurrence of abnormal discharge. SOLUTION: An electrode group in this A.C. drive type plasma display device provided with the electrode group formed on a first substrate 11 is composed of plural pairs of A.C. drive type discharge sustaining electrodes 12A and 12B and plural pairs of bus electrodes 13A and 13B, the side 12A2 of the first discharge sustaining electrode 12A and the side 12B2 of the second discharge sustaining electrode 12B facing to each other draw a curved line, and the distance between the side 12A2 of the electrode 12A and the side 12B2 of the electrode 12B is larger than those of other regions in the regions adjacent to the bus electrodes 13A and 13B. |
