PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical signal transmission device capable of uniformly branching an optical signal, an optical data bus system composed of this transmission device, and a signal processor including the data bus system. SOLUTION: The length L2 of a step-like difference in level is fixed in a translucent medium having four incidence/emission sections 141 to 144; and then, the change in uniformity of the outgoing light quantity is observed in the case where the length L1 from the end face with a reflection layer 2 arranged to the nearest incidence/emission section is varied. As a result, the uniformity of the outgoing light quantity is found minimized if L2=10 [mm] while L1=40 [mm], if L2=15 [mm] while L1=60 [mm], and if L2=20 [mm] while L1=80 [mm]. Accordingly, in designing the optical signal transmission device 10, L1 is set at the length in which L2 is multiplied by the number of the incidence/emission sections, thereby enabling the uniformity of the outgoing light signal to be minimized regardless of the position of the incidence/emission sections on which the optical signal is made incident. |
