PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor module with its detection accuracy kept high.

SOLUTION: Correction data are updated (steps S271 and S273) only when the variation range of acceleration obtained from an output signal of an acceleration sensor is less than a threshold while a difference is less than a threshold between a directional angle obtained from an output signal of a geomagnetic sensor and an inclination angle obtained from the output signal of the acceleration sensor (step S269 Y). This causes the correction data to be updated only when a magnetic field is satisfactory at the position of a movable body, allowing the accuracy of the correction data to be kept high.
