APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LATENCY IMPROVEMENT THROUGH SCHEDULER MODIFICATION IN EV-DO NETWORK

A scheduling device for improving real-time network game delay in an EV-DO(Evolution Data Only) network and a controlling method therefor are provided to assign priority to a scheduler to offer a real-time service in the EV-DO network, thereby improving delay of mobile games. A scheduler(10) carries out a scheduling process. A priority setup unit(20) sets priority for the scheduler, and assigns the set priority to the scheduler. If the highest priority is 1, priority is set to make a real-time service packet have a value larger than 1, and priority is set to make a packet of another non real-time service have a value smaller than 1.
