PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system and earthquake information sharing method that allow notification from other user to complement reception of earthquake occurrence information even when one user fails to receive the earthquake occurrence information by an own portable terminal device.SOLUTION: A reply information reception unit 205 of an image processing device 100 is configured to, when receiving reply information corresponding to reception confirmation of earthquake occurrence information from a portable terminal device 101, accept the portable terminal device as a portable terminal device having the reply information received. A no-reply terminal determination unit 206 is configured to, when the reception of the reply information from the portable terminal device is stopped, determine a no-reply portable terminal device other than the portable terminal device having the reply information received among a plurality of portable terminal devices. An earthquake information re-transmission unit 207 is configured to re-transmit earthquake occurrence information and reply information for the purpose of confirming reception of the earthquake occurrence information to the determined no-reply portable terminal device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
