The base plate (2) mounted on rollers (1) supports a frame (3) on which the water-driven scraper knife blades and nozzles are mounted. A central hub supports arms on which the scraper blades are mounted at 90 degrees to each other. Near the blades are pressurised water nozzles. A housing (4) supports a hub (5) which is rotatable w.r.t. the housing. The unit moves along the longitudinal axis of the sewer pipe (6). The hub carries two diametrically opposed arms (7) of equal length and two shorter arms (8) which are rotatable and at 90 degrees to the long arms. At the end of the long arms, at the cutting edge of the knife blades, are nozzles (10) supplied with pressurised water supplied from the central pipe (13) led into the chamber (12).
