PURPOSE:To improve an S/N ratio in a hands-free call by installing a speaker near the upper part of the seat back part of a driving seat in an automobile and installing a microphone in a position where it intersects with the speaker with the driver of the automobile between them. CONSTITUTION:A telephone set mainbody 11 is installed in a center console 12, for example, and the hands-free speaker 13 is installed on the side of the door 15 of the driving seat in the upper part of the seat back part 14 of the driving seat. The hands-free microphone 17 is installed in the position where it intersects with the speaker 13 with the driver between them. Namely, the microphone 17 is installed almost near a center position in the upper frame 19 of front glass 18, for example. When the telephone set mainbody 11 is set in a hands-free state, the output of the speaker 13 can be obtained near the right ear of the driver being a caller. The sound of the driver is inputted to the microphone 17 in the position which mostly confronts with the mouth of the driver. Thus, the S/N ratio improves and a clear call is attained. |
