发明名称 ADHESION TREATMENT BETWEEN POLYESTER FIBER AND ETHYLENE-PROPYLENE-BASED RUBBER
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve adhesive properties to an ethylene-propylene-based rubber by pretreating a polyester fiber cord with a polyepoxide compound in advance and then treating the pretreated fiber cord with a treatment solution containing a special chlorophenol having a specified structure, RFL and a specified cross- linking agent. CONSTITUTION:A polyester fiber cord is pretreated with a polyepoxide compound (preferable example: a reaction product between a polyvalent alcohol and epichlorohydrin) in advance and subsequently treated with a treatment solution containing RFL, special chlorophenols containing chlorophenols composed mainly of the trinuclear compound, the pentanuclear compound and the heptanuclear compound respectively synthesized by cocondensation of para- chlorophenol, resorcin and formaldehyde and represented by formulae I to III and having a molecular weight distribution shown by the figure and a cross- linking agent composed of a blocked polyisocyanate. A heat treatment is applied thereto, thus producing the objective-polyester fiber improved in adhesion to an ethylene-propylene-based rubber. The rubber latex used as RFL is a vinylpyridine-styrene-butadiene terpolymer.
