A manufacturing method of an electro-chromic device is provided to significantly reduce the interfacial resistance between the opposite electrodes corresponding to the solid electrolyte. A transparent electrode is coated on a substrate. A positive layer(13) and a negative layer(15) are formed on the substrate. An electrolyte layer is stacked between the positive and negative layers so that the electro-chromic device is manufactured. The liquid compound for forming the electrolyte layer is coated on one or more surfaces between the positive and negative layers and the resultant liquid compound is dried. Thereafter, the organic solvent is impregnated on the coating layer or non-coating electrode layer. The liquid compound is the colloidal dispersion liquid with the organic polymer, inorganic materials and organic and inorganic hybrid solid powder. The organic solvent is an aprotic solvent. After forming the electrolyte layer, the positive layer/electrolyte/negative layer stacking member is compressed by a roll without the high-temperature and high-pressure treatment. |
