PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron beam irradiation method used for sterilization, or the like, that can reduce an electron beam distribution to cylindrical objects to be irradiated having protrusions on the peripheral faces while improving productivity. SOLUTION: In an electron beam irradiation method that attains an intended purpose of sterilization, or the like, while transporting a plurality of objects 1a, 1b and 1c to be irradiated, each having a protrusion in the peripheral direction from the casing of a nearly cylindrical section 30, in the direction perpendicular to the direction of irradiation of an electron beam, irradiation is carried out to the plurality of the objects to be irradiated and stored in the cylindrical container, and the directions of the protrusions on the peripheral faces of the irradiated objects stored in the container 30 are different from normals connecting the centers of adjacent irradiated objects. |
