摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of torque estimation when controlling the switching of the number of cylinders of an engine which can control the switching of the number of cylinders and to adequately control the torque distribution of a vehicle using such an estimated torque. SOLUTION: In domains A, B, E, F a first torque prior to commence the controlling of the switching of the number of cylinders is output as an estimated torque as it is (retaining a previous value), in domains D, H the second torque after the controlling of the switching of the number of cylinders is completed and transferred to a steady state is output as the estimated torque as it is, and in domains C, G, a third torque which combines the first torque and the second torque at a prescribed rate is output as the estimated torque (blend processing). By this highly precise estimation of torque can be achieved while minimizing the estimation error of the torque caused by the fluctuation of inspiratory negative pressure when controlling the switching of the number of cylinders.
