PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deviation in the directivity of an electromagnetic wave in an antenna, with a reduced SAR value and improved radiation efficiency of an electromagnetic wave at a communication frequency.SOLUTION: A radio communication device includes: an antenna 300 which includes an antenna element 310 having an open end 310A and a ground conductor 320 used as the ground of the antenna element 310; and a metal plate 400 which is disposed facing the antenna 300 and shields an electromagnetic wave. When viewed in the direction of arrow Y, the metal plate 400 is disposed such that at least it does not overlap with the one end 310A of the antenna element 310 and overlaps with the other end 310B of the antenna element 310.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
