PURPOSE:To have a sure and precise fitting of balls in the rings by arranging the inner and outer rings in eccentric locations and by displacing a crescent jig, which is used to insert balls in the specified number in the upper and lower grooves, up to the space where no balls are set. CONSTITUTION:Outer 31 and inner 32 rings of a ball bearing are placed on a support table 1 with the inner ring 32 in eccentrically displaced state, and balls in the specified number to be fitted in the lower groove of the bearing are placed on a crescent projection 11 of the support table 1. On the support block 40 born by an eccentrically displacing device 5 operated vertically by a cylinder 52, an arm 61 equipped with a ball holding crescent member 6 is installed in such a way as revolved by a motor 7, and this ball holding member 6 is inserted in a gap between the inner and outer rings 32, 31 to over which feed the specified number of balls to be inserted in the upper groove from a feed pipe 10. The guide member 4 inserted in the inner ring is displaced eccentrically while pressing the outer ring 31 by a pressure device 9, and drawn up upon rotation of the arm 61. |
