PURPOSE:To suppress resonance phenomena by combining pulses with a plurality of frequencies, which are in the proximity to the natural frequency of the rotating system of a pulse motor, when driving said pulse motor at the same frequency as the natural frequency of said pulse motor rotating system. CONSTITUTION:A plurality (four sets in the drawing) of frequencies are generated by a pulse generator 1 according to the command of a controller 2. A distributing circuit 3 distributes said four sets of frequencies to control gates of four transistors of a switching circuit 4 and causes a current to flow through four coils of an excitation winding 5 from a DC power supply 6 to drive a pulse motor directly coupled to a load 7. When it is necessary to drive said pulse motor at the same frequency as the natural frequency of the rotating system of the pulse motor, said four sets of frequencies are set in the proximity to the natural frequency and the mean value thereof is caused to coincide with the natural frequency of said rotating system. Thus, it is possible to avoid a trouble due to resonance easily at a low cost and without lowering output and to select the range of a driving frequency freely. |
