CHAIN FOR SLIDE FASTENER AND METHOD FOR MOLDING ITS TERMINAL AND APPARATUS FOR MOLDING TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the form in the terminal portions of wire fastener elements mounted to a slide fastener stabler and safer. SOLUTION: The coiled fastener elements 11 are used as the wire fastener elements 1 at one side edge 5 of the fastener tape 2. Cords 3 are inserted into the fastener elements 11 and are sewn by using sewing threads as fixing threads 4. The fastener tape 2 is then cut at a leg part 22 where the fastener elements 11 come into contact with the fastener tape. This cut end is welded to the fastener tape 2 by melting the leg part 22 and an inverting part 23 on the side inner than the tape side edge 5, by which the form at, the terminal of the fastener elements 11 is stabilized.
